Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in the city of St. Louis, Missouri. She performed in The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia conferred her with a BA (with honors) in Communications and Theatre. Her career began with the city of Los Angeles as a theater artist. She choreographed and performed in over 20 plays and musicals. The most notable of these were The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan and The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera's The Musical Peter Pan. She also performed seven main roles in LA's Storybook Theatre. Kelly began landing television and film roles while she was studying the art of improvisation with The Groundlings. She also became a member of Theatre West. Her voice and diminutive stature that have made her able to take on a range of roles. Her work together with Naomi Watts as Samara the antagonist on The Ring 2 is well recognized, but she's most well-known as the lively receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly played a part in a regular Series on TV Land's The Exes which she played both a party-hopper and paralegal during the time of the day. Also, she was an Regular in the role of the hot sassy Little Sister to Alyssa Milano in ABC's Romantically Challenged as well as the mom in a stressed-out suburban home on the show on CW's No Tomorrow. She sang soprano in many cartoons, including Tom & Jerry, Sofia the First and Doc McStuffins. Recently, she was in the role of the slow but adorable Cloud 9 employee on NBC's super-hit comedy Superstore. She leads a tranquil private life, with her husband, and their two little children and enjoys sewing writing as well as volunteering for school activities.
