Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in the city of St. Louis, Missouri. She performed in The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia conferred her with a degree of with a laude for Theatre and Communication. When she moved from Missouri to Los Angeles Kelly quickly became involved in stage, choreographing and acting in over two dozen shows. These included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan in Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. Kelly started landing movie and television roles after she learned improvisation, and later became a Theatre West company member. Kelly's distinctive voice and petite size have enabled her to portray a range of different character types. She was known to the public for taking on the character of the villainous Samara along with Naomi Watts, in The Ring 2. But her most well-known role is for her bright and cheerful receptionist who worked at Two and a Half Men. Kelly was a TV Land Series Regular between 2011 and 2015, appearing as a paralegal in the daytime and a party girl at night. Additionally, she played Alyssa's smart sexpert sister on ABC's Romantically Challenged. On the show on CW's No Tomorrow she portrayed the mother of a stressed suburban family. She's lent her singing soprano to a variety of animated shows such as Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Recently, she was seen in the role of the charming but dimwitted Cloud 9 Employee on NBC's famous comedy Superstore. The private world of her life is quiet. She enjoys spending time with her loved ones, including two children.
